Sircon Corp. announced the release of its newest web-based compliance service, ProducerEDGE, giving agents, adjusters, customer service representatives and other insurance licensees the ability to manage their own licensure and compliance online.
The subsidiary of Vertafore said the product also allows licensees to track continuing education requirements against completions and follow status changes resulting from requests to each of the 50 state departments of insurance.
The software and services company said in a statement such access is expected to “drastically reduce” the number of inquiries to “generally overburdened” state regulators and provide a simple, yet powerful, tool to help maintain compliance.
“Never before has an individual producer had the ability to log into one online service and get the answers to their most common compliance-related questions,” said Gary Gummig, Sircon’s vice president of government services, in a statement. “Combining that personal information repository with a full suite of compliance-related services truly gives users a distinct advantage. In short, ProducerEDGE makes producers more self-sufficient. We believe ProducerEDGE is a true game changer, and presents a major strategic and competitive advantage as we continue to serve the individual producer market.”
